Any city depends on its inhabitants. And if the city is a mess, it means the locals are happy with everything. But the most rundown city in Russia is, of course, Moscow. Good luck to all. Love your city.

Disgusting city! The people are rude and boorish! The prices for everything are off the charts. There is no heating in the apartments until the end of October. Some retail outlets, car washes. There are no places for normal cultural recreation. In the middle of the city (in the center) there is Salt Lake. There is a sewage system for tens of kilometers away from the water. The city resembles a village, there are no drainage ditches, you walk along the roads and all the splashes from cars are on people. The impressions from the city are the worst.

Nakhodka, compared to Chita, is a wonderful town, I like it, I’ve lived there for 6 years, silence, tranquility, nature, sea, beaches, mountains, rivers, lakes, fishing, hunting, sports, you can find something for every taste, even the roads are quite normal, and work can be found both on the shore and in the seas, people are sympathetic, good-natured, of course there are plenty of drunks, but they are quite intelligent, they sit in the park on Leninskaya on benches, drink funfiriki and listen to the orchestra at the DKM))))

I was born in Nakhodka. I've been living here for 60 years. on Sportivnaya. it was once clean. beautiful city. There was such silence. that on the Third Section there was a dance floor and in the evening you could hear songs all the way to Rybak. and a buoy could also be heard. the one that was on Chituvai. When we were kids, we visited all the beaches. hills there was clean forest everywhere. flowers are different. wild raspberries. apples. grape. and now you can’t go to the beaches. There are barriers everywhere. Let's go to Lyudyanza. they didn't let me in. they say walk between the fences. if you get through. there are cottages and fences everywhere. Live-in garages were built on Chituvai. chopped off half the beach. all sewage is poured into the sea. I stood up and was horrified. there is some kind of slippery abomination there. but this was our and our parents’ favorite beach. sandy bottom. clean. cozy. with warm water. and now it's completely filthy. in Tungus they liked to relax on the second bay. we got there over stones or along the top of the border path. The cove is small. but pure and deep. there was a stream and a lot of wild roses. the smells are amazing. so everything there was also built up with garages. there is no passage. barrier. even where the rocket men are stationed on Chikhambur in the bay. as we called it, the Big Stone is also a barrier. there is now a club called Marlin. on Chikhambur itself there was once a pioneer camp called Mayak. I was there in first and third grade. there was a lake all blue. blue. Irises grew and in Tungus the lake was completely covered with irises. so now there is also a barrier on Chikhambur. but this summer they removed it. but there is practically no road to any beach. only in a jeep and then somehow. Let's go to Veblud. and there is the Tungus recreation center. on the left is the beach. We spent the night there when we were young. beauty. Let's catch some fish. Let's cook the fish soup. now it's crazy there. everything is blocked. on the right is Kompost Bay. They also made a staircase. there is no passage. so on all the beaches. Well, what remains is Tungus where the city sewerage drains. Lesnaya. so you still have to get there. but there was also a barrier there until recently. In general, they trashed the city. fences. landfills. coal. At home all the window sills and curtains are black and we breathe it. There is no normal work, and the salaries are ridiculous. It's all scammers everywhere. the people are evil. They all closed in their holes and sat. The enterprises are all screwed. There is nothing except shopping centers. Apartment prices are crazy. inexplicably. there is no work. they pay a pittance. I would love to leave here. but it's not that simple. I love the sea with all my soul. but I don’t have the strength to see all this.

Your Nakhodka is a complete mess
Marya
I read negative reviews about Nakhodka. You, sad people, will feel bad everywhere. I am planning to move from Chegdomyn. Are you scared of coal dust? Ahaha! We have a mining village, dust falls on our heads all year round, winter snow turns black in a couple of days! In Nakhodka, I didn’t notice much dirt from the coal. There are a lot of green spaces and flowers, and what gorgeous hills, you just want to stroke them. Sister Mountain is unique! I have visited Nakhodka more than once. I was impressed by the beautiful nature and the wonderful sea. Even the rains didn't bother us. I plan to move, but not to Nakhodka itself, but to the village of Beregovoy. I don't like noise and fuss. I liked Yuzhno-Morskoy, but it’s a bit far from the city. You can find work anywhere if you are not afraid of it. Mushrooms, berries, fishing, hiking, and most importantly, the sea, which I saw for the first time at the age of 35 and fell in love at first sight. I was surprised by the friendly people. To any question you receive a comprehensive answer, with a bunch of explanations better than the navigator. From them I learned where it is better to buy housing, where there are quiet areas and less crime. We were frightened by the prolonged rains. Our climate has changed a lot thanks to the Bureyskaya hydroelectric station. At minus 30 in winter there is also humidity! You freeze to the bone, no matter how warmly you dress. I don’t think such frosts happen in Nakhodka. In general, my choice was between Khabarovsk and Nakhodka, I chose the city by the sea.

20 Nakhodka, like other cities, has its own poor and its rich. The average salary, according to my acquaintances from Nakhodka, very little exceeds the mark of 15 thousand rubles per month. How one can live on that kind of money in a city with high prices is a mystery to me. All the more surprising is the high cost of essential goods in conditions of limited demand and the presence of Vladivostok, along with other production centers, nearby. But one way or another, no noticeable signs of poverty are evident on the streets.
It is worth noting that the city traditionally lived as a port, but in the early 90s, with the opening of other harbors of the Far East to foreign ships, its importance fell. Modern customs barriers do not improve the economic situation. The existing light and food industry enterprises in Nakhodka are mainly aimed at satisfying intra-city demand.
Maria.
I’ve been living in Nakhodka for 33 years, I’ll say this, it used to be better. A park, a cinema, the city was cleaner, prices were normal, there were local products on the market. Now there is no park, there were 3 cinemas, only one poor one is left. Only supermarkets are being built with prices higher than in Vladivostok. Also, gasoline and travel are more expensive than in Vladivostok, but the roads are better. There are no prospects for young people, salaries are small. Prices for apartments are reasonable, prices for land and houses are very high. We are planning to move...

This year, my son and I went to Nakhodka to buy a motorcycle for a friend. We arrived in Nakhodka in the evening, it’s a very beautiful city, it’s a pity, of course, in the morning we went back to wander around the city for at least one day.

So, dear readers, today I will tell you about the city of Nakhodka. The city has a lot of beautiful plants, trees, mountains, and seas. Awesome seas)) On Zolotari beach there is always warm water in the summer, there are restaurants, cafes, barbecues, houses
But in some places there is cabbage and algae floating and there are always a lot of people.
Ritsa will be worse than goldsmiths, there is little space there, not enough sand and the sea is dirty, but it’s fun to walk there, it’s better not to swim, but to walk around and breathe the sea air.
The wave is the worst... It’s very dirty, there’s a lot of glass, the people there are kind of angry...
In general, I don’t recommend Volna beach.
Real estate there is inexpensive; you can buy a good apartment for 2,000,000 rubles.
I really like the Mega-Nakhodka shopping center, there are a lot of boutiques, shops, entertainment, it’s very beautiful, the prices are inexpensive, there are fountains, statues and 7 cinema halls! And there are fish swimming in the fountain in the middle of the shopping center. There is also the Orange shopping center, the decoration of the place is smaller, but also good! But the MZhK area is the best for living, beautiful houses, developed infrastructure, near the City Center (I don’t know what to call it, but also something like a shopping center, there is a good playground and a beautiful fountain, many shops)
The main drawback of the find is coal dust... People are actively leaving this beautiful city because of it, it’s sad that this is happening to this city, perhaps it will meet the fate of some abandoned place.
Maria
I have been living in Nakhodka for 16 years, I moved from the Khabarovsk Territory in 2003, at first I really liked the city, it was clean, of course I plan to leave this city, from the negative reviews I can say, the first is, of course, the roads are killer, the second is the open transshipment and loading of coal especially the Astafyev area is suffering, and in 2017 in winter the snow was black and even cars were covered in coal, steep prices for food, vegetables and fruits compared to St. Petersburg and Moscow, there is no decent park, there was a park in the fishing port before, small earnings, work pressure .
—
Nakhodka is not a city for living, most likely for relaxation, the beach, the sea, although from the coal the sea will soon be black and all living creatures will disappear, but for now I don’t have to choose, I live right here on the first site, I go to the sea to Trekozerye since the sea there is cleaner so how open it is, you can say that it’s a blue lagoon, I also like Chituvay beach, Snake Beach, from Chituvay I go to the first and third bay, in general I like where there aren’t a lot of people, that’s why I go to the bay through the hill on foot for about thirty minutes, but here people are used to car by the sea, Nakhodka is essentially one big and long road along the bay, I don’t like that the vegetables and fruits are Chinese, the meat and chicken have no taste or smell, grown on hormones
Sophia
I read reviews about the city of Nakhodka, everyone was unhappy, and I had questions, why were we coming here? Why don't you move to another city? They write that it is impossible to survive on a salary in this city, I am a student, I work, I rent an apartment, I have enough for everything, people live in this quiet city, and they don’t like it, they want more movement, and if there is none, then the city is for pensioners, always there is a way out, even without education you can find a normal job, or you can sit and wait for something, write bad reviews, everything doesn’t fall from the sky, understand, if a person has a goal and he strives for it, he will achieve what he wants! As for individuals who like to drink, and individuals who ask for help, they also sit and do nothing, a person becomes an alcoholic because he believes that there are many problems in his life, then his children repeat the habits of their parents, but their problems can always be solved, and Don't go get drunk and say how bad the city is. If you haven’t found yourself in this city, it doesn’t mean that the city is bad, that’s your problem.
Nikolai
As for the mega find, this horse center has tightly backed up all the residents of building 7, there’s no place to park a car near the house, Lushnikov’s fence is everywhere, and no one cares about it, they’re just pissing on the local authorities and the thief Lushnikov, and as a matter of fact, the pigs should live in a pen

I have been living in Nakhodka for 2 years. The city is nice and calm. In summer everything is in flowers. Different prices. There are expensive stores, and there are cheaper ones. There are wholesale grocery stores. We stay there for a month. The clothing market also has different price tags. the average minimum price tag is 1500, be it a jacket, jeans or shoes. Of course, there are sales and discounts, but it’s rare to find anything good there (well, maybe I’m unlucky).
Separately, it is worth mentioning the climate. High humidity especially adds to this during the inter-heating season. spring and autumn. The apartment is damp. Things are all raw. The bed is damp. Even paper gets damp in printers at work. You can solve the problem with dehumidifiers and air conditioners, but I haven’t solved this problem for myself yet. June is especially pleasing. Last year it rained all month, this year it was quite cold until the end of the month. The jackets were removed only at the very end of the month. Then there are already 2 weeks of summer. Sea, sun, beaches and the ubiquitous sauna effect. High humidity, sun and either hot or no wind. And after 2 weeks, the second stage of summer begins, when it’s hot in the sun, and when you go into the shade, a fairly cold breeze quickly cools you down. If by this time the find has been visited by a typhoon, then you will no longer be able to go into the sea. The water is cold. In short, you need to get used to it
As for the rest, . The minimum prices for rental housing are approximately equal to the average salary of 1 person, and this seems to be the case throughout Russia.
As for the rest, you can live, you can even live not badly. Only the lazy can’t find a job; it’s another matter that finding a high-paying job is harder, but it’s also possible
There is no school in Zolotary, but a school bus runs from there and takes children to and from classes.
The city is not gasified, with the exception of a few houses on Velvet Street. In the private sector, heating is solid fuel or electric. Housing prices are crazy. Just like throughout the country.
The nature is very good, and there are places to go to relax, such as mushrooms, fishing and hunting. Everything your heart desires.
And it’s also probably worth saying that the terrible bad weather that periodically plagues the Far East either catches the find only at the very edge, or bypasses it altogether, well, at least for the last two years.
Somehow like this.
This is my personal vision of the situation and I do not impose it on anyone...
Sergey
I moved from Krasnoyarsk to Nakhodka and have been living for more than 5 years. I really like Nakhodka, moreover, I Love this city! I have long wanted to get away from traffic jams and poor ecology in Krasnoyarsk. Beautiful clean sea, friendly and helpful people. Good sea fishing and much more. Of course, there are some things I’m not happy with - for example, it’s high time to make a bicycle path from Leningradskaya to Ritsa Beach, but these are minor things.

What's really amazing about Nakhodka is the price level. On average it is surprisingly high there. To a large extent, this concerns essential goods – food, gasoline. An industrial group, however, is also often expensive, although options are already possible there.

We moved from Kazakhstan in August. The cause is bronchial asthma in a child. In Nakhodka he felt better because of the proximity of the sea. The climate here is mild and good. In Artyom and Vladivostok it is significantly colder. The prices for the apartments correspond to the advertisements, but... everything here is occupied by agencies. Therefore, when renting, plan that you will also have to pay a 50% commission. Registration is perhaps the most pressing issue for immigrants. You must complete temporary registration within 7 working days from the date of crossing the border. We were very lucky, we found registration through friends of friends))). Amounted to 2000 per person. There are always people at the FMS who register with them (the price is approximately 3,000 per person). A good option (which we didn’t know about) is when you arrive, you rent a hotel for a while and there they make you temporary registration for 90 days. Another option is to look for an apartment to rent with temporary registration. One-room apartments - 10-12 thousand, 2-room apartments - 14-18 thousand, plus electricity and water.

This is not a city, this is a village - dirty and dusty. We walked along the main street, it was impossible to breathe due to the gases, the sea was polluted with coal. Very heavy air. There are a lot of drunks begging for money and cigarettes. There's nothing to see there. I wouldn't recommend it.

A big hello to all readers of this review. Today I would like to talk about the city in which I have been living for about a year. I myself lived for about ten years in a big city - Novosibirsk. For family reasons, I moved to a small town in the Primorsky Territory - the city of Nakhodka. Having lived here for about a year, I can talk about the pros and cons. Let's start with the advantages of our small town by the Sea of Japan.
Firstly, the most important and big plus is that the city is located by the sea. It’s not worth traveling abroad every summer to swim and lie on the beach. It is enough to take the bus and in twenty to thirty minutes you will reach the clean and beautiful sea.
Secondly, the city is small and quite developed. There are about three to four shopping centers in Nakhodka. I already wrote a review about one of them, you can read it at this link: https://otzovik.com/review_1474328.html.
The city also hosts various events and openings. People are kind and sympathetic, but I have not yet met people who are better and kinder than in Siberia.
I noticed only one disadvantage in the city - you quickly get tired of it. After a year of living, I wanted to leave here. Go and live in a more civilized city.
In general, I like the city of Nakhodka in the Primorsky Territory. It has both its pros and cons!

She came to Nakhodka at the age of 34, before that she lived for a long time in a metropolis and in small towns. I fell in love with this city from the first days. My husband and I lived there for 6 years. We bought our first home and gave birth to our long-awaited daughter. Then my husband was invited to work in another city, also in Primorye. Every time I came to Nakhodka on business or to visit friends, tears welled up, I love this city!!! It’s a pity that there is such a situation with coal transshipment and work there now. Now we have left for Crimea. In general, if people in Nakhodka had decent jobs, it would be a wonderful city for family life, for giving birth and raising children. Patience and prosperity to everyone!!! Everything will be alright!!!

With a salary of 30 thousand, you won’t eat meat too often, people are fleeing Nakhodka, food is at exorbitant prices, you won’t eat fruit too often, and it’s Chinese, without taste or smell. The nature is beautiful, but all the enterprises have collapsed. Nakhodka is a port, a ship repair base, a tin and can factory - everything has collapsed. Even under the USSR, it was difficult to find an engineering job; even in 1986, my husband hired me as an economist through an acquaintance; when 10 years later he was transferred from Nakhodka, the whole family cried with happiness. Don't think about going there unless absolutely necessary.

I moved 10 years ago from Irkutsk. I am satisfied with my salary, work and leisure time. I do spearfishing and fishing, and Nakhodka is an ideal place to live for this. With our income (approximately 100 thousand), our family regularly travels to Turkey and Thailand and even to New Zealand. So if you think with your head and your hands grow where they need to, then here in Nakhodka you can live and live very well. And those who went to St. Petersburg or Moscow to live, I think they simply have different values; they like to live in the concrete jungle and ride the metro or stand in traffic jams. And whoever is from there and trashes their former city, they are simply losers in life. For example, I consider my homeland Irkutsk the best place to live, I endlessly love and miss it and Baikal. But it so happened that fate brought me to the find and I found a second home here

I have lived in Nakhodka all my life, I am 50 years old. Yes, there used to be a promising and developing city. BAMR, PMP, etc. thundered all over the country. They came to work with us from all over the world; there were many young people who had no intention of leaving anywhere. And now, alas, it’s getting worse and worse. City of old people. If it continues at this rate, then in 20 years the city can be renamed a village. It is difficult and uninteresting for young people to live here. Nothing is built or done for them. There is still no theater in the city (not counting the Rampa, which is located in the DKS). There are no areas where young people can relax. Their entertainment is to go to the City, to Mega. That's all! My 2 daughters say we live in a terrible place. The eldest went to college in St. Petersburg, and the youngest wants to go there soon. Naturally, they won’t come back, and I don’t want that. Until the authorities and the government turn their faces to Primorye and do something more than they are doing now, there will continue to be a massive outflow of the population, especially young people.

in Nakhodka it’s more fun to have a great vacation, but not to live permanently... although while I lived there, I liked it; for people who don’t want to go to big cities, Nakhodka is what they need

I am 34 years old, I studied in Khabarovsk and returned back. There are no jobs here for those who don't want to work. I live on the first site and do not suffer much from coal. There is a place to develop children, a lot of sections and studios. I like my town. Tap water, but clean)). Everyone is crying that everything is bad, but everyone’s cars are one more beautiful than the other and everyone is building cottages...

Nakhodka is like a long gut along the sea - practically one street for the whole city. The city itself is gray, uncomfortable, the roads go at an angle of 45 degrees. Sailors, sleazy civilians, there is nowhere to eat. So we quickly did our business and left Nakhodka, back to Vladik. The road between Nakhodka and Vladivostok is a complete mess...

The find personally bothers me in only one way - medicine. I mean paid, I’m not talking about the policy, it’s like that everywhere, a dropper, aspirin and just lie there and die. but here, even for money, they can’t really do anything; at the very least they send them to Vlad, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk and even farther away. and so, in comparison with the same Vladik, the find for life is definitely better. There is a ton of greenery, the green farm works better than any other urban structure, the sea is clean (for now), the air is clean (for now), the city is not hectic, the people match the city - well, what more? If only money and raw materials weren’t pumped out of it... When you’re younger, yes, those are quite naturally drawn to where life swirls, so to speak. in find it is more boring with this. but maybe it’s for the better... especially for old farts

History[edit]
Nakhodka Bay, around which the city is organized, was the first known Russian corvette Amerika
who sought refuge in the bay during a storm in 1859, in honor of this incident, the ice-free and relatively calm bay was named Nakhodka, which means “discovery” or “successful find” in Russian.
An imperial settlement existed here from 1868 to 1872, but was abandoned after the death of its administrator, Harold Furuhjelm. In the fall of 1870, Otto Wilhelm Lindholm built a whaling station across the bay from the settlement. In the spring of 1871 he rigged his schooner Hannah Rice
and sailed to Posyet, where he caught six gray whales. [9]
Until the 20th century, the area around the bay remained uninhabited, with the first settlement being a small fishing village founded in 1907 [ edit
] When the Soviet government decided to build a harbor in the area in 1930, a number of small settlements were founded, which were consolidated as a workers' settlement in the 1940s.
On May 18, 1950, the village, which by that time had about 28,000 residents, received city status. [ citation needed
