The main architect was K.V. Dyer. According to his design, the church consisted of five huge domes bordered by a three-tier bell tower.
The temple has a unique interior, the windows are decorated with platbands, brick drums around the altar, painted walls, and hand-carved wooden icons. Since 1929, the temple was closed, and since 1992, access for services and prayers has been reopened.
