A city near Moscow, almost a suburb of Moscow - Lyubertsy. The former possessions of Menshikov, the birthplace of the legendary group of Nikolai Rastorguev “Lube” and the notorious groups - the Lubers. We walk along the road and along the roundabout at this hour of the night, and towards us there is a stream of cars, motorcycles, the screeching of tires... Oh, my Lyube-Lyubertsy-and-and...
Date of birth: 1925
A little history
Lyubertsy was born in 1621 as a village with a double name: Liberitsy-Nazarovo, after the names of the owners - Nazar and Libor. From the last name came Liberici, and then Liberitsy.
Since 1705, the village belonged to the associate of Peter the Great, Alexander Menshikov, and from the mid-18th century to the future Emperor Peter III.
During the first Russian revolution, a wave of labor unrest swept through Lyubertsy. The fighting squad led by the socialist-revolutionary machinist Alexei Ukhtomsky especially distinguished itself.
Lyubertsy was granted city status in 1925, and in 1934 the workers' villages of Panki, Podosinki and the dacha village of Mikhelson were included in its composition. In 1984, the Zhulebino and Ukhtomsky microdistricts and the workers' village of Kosino, including the Kozhukhovo and Novokosino microdistricts, were transferred to Moscow.
For the Olympics in Moscow, many sports facilities were built in Lyubertsy, mainly for “men’s” sports - weightlifting, wrestling. This kind of sports education gave birth to a new phenomenon, or as they now call it a subculture, the Lubers.
Now the whole country knows Lyubertsy thanks to the only popular group that performs patriotic songs, “Lyube”.

A traditional dish
What is your favorite dish in Lyubertsy? Don't know! Nikolai Rastorguev, for example, loves fried sausage with potatoes and borscht. Well, shouldn’t I teach you how to fry potatoes and cook borscht? Having resorted to the classics, let me remind you that Alexander Menshikov, whose patrimony was the village of Liberitsy, sold pies with which he treated Peter the Great himself. I will not claim that this is the same recipe, but I will dare to offer two options for Menshikov’s pies.
Pies a la Menshikov
Need to:
- pork as chops
- bulb onions
- champignon mushrooms or fresh, boiled
- dill
- salt and pepper
- ready-made yeast dough or sour cream, flour, egg
Let's cook!
First option:
Cut a piece of pork the size of half a dessert plate, add salt and pepper, add chopped champignons (or any pre-boiled mushrooms), add a little salt. Then sprinkle with finely chopped onion and dill. Fold in half. Roll out the dough into a flat cake with a diameter twice the size of the chop, add the filling and make a pie. Brush with beaten egg and bake in the oven until golden brown. For fun, you can decorate the pie in the shape of a pig.
The second option, if you don’t want to bother with the dough and the guests are already on the doorstep!
Cut the pork into pieces 1-1.5 cm thick, beat. Chop the mushrooms and onions and fry them, then add fresh dill. Place the fried vegetables on the chopped piece of meat, fold it in half and press the edges tightly.
Mix sour cream, flour, yolk and salt. Add separately whipped egg whites to the mixture and mix gently. Dip the pork into the dough and fry in ghee or vegetable oil in a frying pan.

History of the city of Lyubertsy
Lyubertsy is a modern, industrial city in the Moscow region. As in other cities close to the capital of Russia, the standard of living of the population is above average. In addition to all these advantages, Lyubertsy has an interesting, rich history. It will be briefly discussed in this article.
First information about the future city
The Moscow region town of Lyubertsy is already thriving 400
years.
We will no longer know when the first resident settled on the site of the future city; information about this has not been preserved. In historical chronicles, the first information about Lyubertsy is available from 21
of the seventeenth century. But then this settlement could not be called a city. On the site of the future city there were only a dozen houses with peasants. The settlement had a double name, Lyubertsy-Nazarovo. This is due to the two owners of the village. One had six peasant families, and the second had four households with peasants. The first was clerk Ivan Gryaznov, later he bought the remaining four households from Fedor Poroshin, and became the owner of a small village.
Gryaznov was not a simple clerk, but a Duma clerk. This was a high government position of those times. Naturally, Ivan was not the last person in the state and had influential connections. Thanks to his position, Ivan Gryaznov will erect the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord God in Lyubertsy. The construction of the church will serve as a reason to change the status of the settlement. The village will be considered a village.
After the death of Ivan Gryaznov, the village will be owned by his relatives, brother Mina and sister Praskovya. IN 1674
This village and many other estates will be purchased by the State Order.
Over time, the Order will be disbanded. And in 1676
, Miloslavsky became the owner of the village of Lyubertsy. He was the favorite nephew of the Tsar's wife, Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov. There were ten peasant estates in the settlement. Three dozen male souls awaken in them. Women's souls and children's souls were not taken into account in those days.
In the fifth year of the eighteenth century, the village of Lyubertsy was transferred to Menshikov Alexander Danilovich, the favorite of Tsar Peter the Great. After which, having become the owner of the village, Menshikov will give the settlement a new name. It will be called Novopreobrazhenskoye. A magnificent palace has been built in the village. After the death of Tsar Peter 1
Menshikov will find himself in disgrace and exiled. The village with a new name will be transferred to the State Order. The name of the village of Novopreobrazhenskoye will exist for many years, about two hundred years. And people still call the village Lyubertsy.
War 1812
the year will not bypass Lyubertsy. During the retreat, the Russian army will be temporarily stationed in the village. The population is awakening to share everything that is left with the soldiers. And later, most of the population will go into the forests to partisan. Many enemy convoys will be destroyed, the enemy will regret that he came to fight on Russian soil.
Population growth and development in Lyubertsy
After 1862
year, rapid growth of population, industry, economy and trade begins in Lyubertsy.
This is due to the commissioning of the Ryazan-Moscow railway line. The railway ran along the village of Lyubertsy. Given the close distance to the capital of Russia and the convenience of transportation, local and Western investors flocked to the village. In 62
of the nineteenth century, a regular route from Moscow to Kolomna was opened.
And in two years there will be regular trains to Ryazan. In 1861
, serfdom was abolished, all this contributed to the rapid growth of enterprises and population in all settlements of the Moscow region, especially in those through which the railway passed.
Revolutionary movement in Lyubertsy
By the beginning of the revolution 5
years, a friendly working class was formed in Lyubertsy. Therefore, the workers took an active part in the revolution. All large enterprises have raised the red flag. The industrial process was completely stopped. The streets were controlled by workers' squads. The driver Ukhtomsky went down in history forever. On his train, he made flights to Moscow together with armed squads. They disarmed many police officers, and there were some who went over to the side of the rebels. Despite the shelling of the Cossacks, the rebel train emerged victorious from the battle. To suppress the uprising, the Semenovsky regiment was sent from St. Petersburg. The revolutionaries were defeated, many workers were shot. Ukhtomsky was arrested and faced death as a hero, refusing to turn away or be blindfolded. The name of the hero is immortalized in the names of enterprises and streets of the city. This is how the Ukhtomsky plant operates in Lyubertsy; the railway platform is named after Ukhtomsky. There are planes, trains, newspapers that are named after the hero. Lyubertsy residents greeted the revolutionary movement with triumph. Various revolutionary parties began to emerge. The brake systems plant found itself in debt after being idle. The previous owner was forced to sell it. It was purchased by an agricultural machinery company. The plant, in addition to the owner, changed its production profile.
Revolution 17
Lyubertsy met the year, divided into parties and colors.
The main two opposing forces were: the Bolsheviks and the Whites. The main Bolshevik in the town near Moscow was Miriteev. I.N. His detachment fought in Moscow in November 17
.
Three soldiers died in the battles:
• Zakharov;
• Kirillov;
• Zubarev.
They were buried as heroes, where Ukhtomsky and his revolutionary assistants were buried. In May 18
A monument was built using public funds.
Restoration of the city by Soviet power
At first 20
years of the twentieth century, most enterprises stood still, and the largest agricultural machinery plant was still American property.
Several workshops operated there. In '23
it stopped completely, and a year later it was nationalized by the Soviet government.
In 1925
, the agricultural machinery plant was already operating at full capacity.
This contributed to the growth of jobs and population in Lyubertsy. In the same year, the village was officially granted city status. And in 1934
, the territory in Lyubertsy grew and absorbed three nearby villages.
Lyubertsy today
During the period of Soviet power, the city grew and developed. Its population exceeded 150
thousands of people. The main problem in Lyubertsy is the environmental problem. A large number of industrial enterprises emit a lot of polluted emissions into the atmosphere. Among them are such dangerous ones as nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, as well as other harmful chemicals. As a result, the soil and water are polluted.
In modern Lyubertsy there are a large number of industrial facilities. They have a great influence on the development of the region. One of their main enterprises is a helicopter production plant. The legendary Ka-50 flying machines are produced in the workshops of this plant. People gave them the name Black Shark. Analogues of this model are also produced. They are bought by many countries. A modern plant that produces components and parts used for the construction and glazing of modern buildings is named after the hero of the revolution, Ukhtomsky. The Torgmash enterprise produces various commercial equipment. New houses and cultural centers are being built in the city. And Russian policy promises further prosperity for this and other cities in the country.
