In the modern world, it is rare to meet a young man who has never been to a nightclub. Moscow is very rich in establishments of this type, but not everyone can boast of excellent service and unusual programs. In the 90s and earlier, young people loved discos, but now no one is interested in banal body movements to music.
A nightclub is not only about dancing. Let's say that dancing doesn't even take first place here. People come to nightclubs to have fun. Watch an incendiary program, listen to the creations of popular DJs, drink an exotic drink.
Where is the best place to go in Moscow? We have prepared the ten most interesting nightclubs, where you will definitely not be bored!
Soho Rooms
The club was opened in 2007 within the walls of the former Moscow Silk factory by the famous restaurateur Dmitry Gauda with the support of two foreign businessmen. Within a short time, the establishment became a popular place in the capital of Russia and acquired a lot of regular visitors from the upper strata of society.
The main feature of Soho Rooms is its luxurious interior, professional staff and individual approach to clients. The highlight of the club is a huge chandelier decorated with Swarovski crystals.
It’s quite difficult to get into the establishment, and it’s not at all because of the expensive ticket, which costs 4,000 rubles. There is face control at the entrance to the club. Security carefully inspects visitors and allows only the elite to enter. An ordinary person, even if he has money for a ticket, will not be allowed in.
ICON CLUB
The establishment is included in the list of the most spacious nightclubs not only in Moscow, but also in Russia. Its area is more than 2500 m2. The building is divided into 3 sectors - club area, bar and hall. Each of them has its own atmosphere and attracts a specific audience.
ICON CLUB is aimed at a young audience, but more mature people also come to it. Here everyone can have a good time, enjoy music and meet influential people.
Despite the fact that ICON CLUB is the best nightclub in the capital, where businessmen and celebrities relax, entry to it is free. However, visitors will have to go through strict face control. Security has the right to deny entry to anyone who does not meet the club's standards.
Rodnya
Who we recommend it to: techno-maniacs.
Address : building 7, Nizhnyaya Syromyatnicheskaya street, 5/7.
Despite the family name, hard and harsh techno rhythms reign in Rodna. Previously, the club hosted parties and concerts “for its own people” (hence the name), but recently the popular Moscow nightclub has begun to attract a wider audience.
The room is decorated in a brutal loft style, and is now visited by techno-music connoisseurs who are ready to dance until they drop. At the same time, the dancer needs considerable stamina, because other dance parties in the club last for thirty hours in a row! But this is on weekends, and on weekdays “Rodnya” remains a modest and “homey” establishment with good cuisine.
Space Moscow
Located in the very heart of Moscow, next to the World Trade Center and Kutuzovsky Prospekt. The owner positions the establishment as a concert superclub, the main specificity of which is export Ibizan parties.
Last year, information appeared in the press that the coolest club in Moscow was closing. But this turned out to be untrue. Space Moscow continues to operate and invites everyone who likes to have fun, listen to quality music and drink delicious cocktails.
Despite the fact that the club is quite spacious, getting there on holidays and weekends is almost impossible. Tickets are booked several days in advance. Entrance to Space Moscow will cost 1,500 rubles. However, judging by the reviews of people who intended to get into the establishment, even buying a ticket does not guarantee that they will be allowed in. Security guards at the entrance carefully inspect clients, and there have been cases where some were denied entry and their money was returned.
London club
The club opened in 2008 and in a short time got into the top 5 best entertainment venues in Moscow. In 2009, he was awarded the title “The Most Popular Club of the Year” and given the Russian Entertainment Awards.
The cost of booking a table at the London club is from 5,000 rubles. An additional 10% service charge will apply.
The main feature of the London club is the holding of themed parties that attract “golden” youth from all over the city. Thanks to the diversity, unique atmosphere inherent in European clubs, good music and attentive staff, you can relax and gain positivity in the establishment.
London club is divided into several zones, each of which can be accessed after purchasing the appropriate ticket. The average entry price is 1300 rubles.
Republic
At first glance, the establishment seems very standard. But this is only until you find yourself on the dance floor. The atmosphere here is simply amazing. The luxurious and very cozy interior will not leave anyone indifferent. To the side of the dance floor there are areas with tables for guests with different preferences.
The club has pleasant lighting and a wide variety of music. Each guest will find what he likes best. The hall has amazing acoustics. Sound and light effects do not have a harmful effect on the auditory and visual organs. The club hosts many interesting themed parties. There is a separate banquet hall and karaoke for visitors.
- Address: Volokolamskoe highway, 124
Propaganda
It is one of the oldest clubs in the capital with an impeccable reputation. It opened its doors to visitors back in 1997. During its existence, the establishment has formed its own traditions, acquired regular customers and popularity.
The highlight of Propaganda is that during the day the establishment operates as a cozy cafe, serving delicious sandwiches and fruit cocktails, and after 22:00 the establishment turns into a noisy nightclub, where incendiary music plays until the morning and a lot of young people have a blast.
Admission to the venue is free during the week, but on Saturday, when famous DJs perform there, visitors will have to purchase a ticket. Its cost varies from 1000 to 1500 rubles. You can get into Propaganda only after passing face control.
Top nightclubs in Moscow with free entry
Trade union
The club and bar agglomerate "Profsoyuz" opened under the roof of the former printing house "Young Guard", where the famous "Murzilka" was printed in the USSR. On a thousand square meters there are two dozen bars, among which there is even the “Smallest Bar in the World” for only 2 people.
Throwing yourself a 24-hour party at this nightclub won't be difficult: go for a cocktail after work, try the local attraction called Alcotir, and be sure to stay until 11:00 p.m., when the DJ takes over.
Address: m. Novoslobodskaya, st. Novoslobodskaya, 16A;
Opening hours: Thu-Sat from 18:00 to 05:00, Sun from 16:00 to 00:00.
Propaganda
If we were to list the top 24-hour nightclubs in Moscow, then Propaganda would top this chart. Parties take place here every day, from Monday to Sunday. Even people far from club life have heard about the wild “Sanchez Thursdays”, which have remained the calling card of the legendary club since its opening.
During the day, the establishment operates as a cafe, serving homemade pappardelle, and at night, they have fun on the dance floor, quenching their thirst with one of the dozen cocktails on the bar menu.
Address: metro station Kitay-Gorod, lane. Bolshoy Zlatoustinsky, 7;
Opening hours: Mon-Sun from 12:00 to 06:00.
Bla bla bar
So you have read our rating of the coolest nightclubs until the next bar agglomerate. Bla bla bar unites 12 bars in one concept in the Depot food mall, where you can try rye whiskey, Pan-Asian matcha cocktails and wild berry liqueurs.
By midnight, the tables are cleared and the bar area turns into a huge dance floor, where trendy DJ sets and live vocals are played.
Address : m. Novoslobodskaya, st. Lesnaya, 20/5;
Opening hours: Fri-Sat from 19:00 to 06:00, Sun from 18:00 to 00:00.
Gogol
Every year, fewer and fewer nightclubs with free entry remain on Stoleshnikov Lane, but Gogol holds up well! Every Saturday and Sunday there are acoustic concerts and performances by Russian rock bands: you can shake your hair in the impromptu fan zone, drink a pint at the bar or play kicker while waiting for the lineup.
Address: Tverskaya metro station, lane. Stoleshnikov, 11;
Opening hours: Mon-Thu, Sun from 12:00 to 00:00, Fri-Sat from 12:00 to 05:00.
Peer
A democratic club with free entry, reborn on the site of the Peer cafe from the same team. When it comes to music, the creators prefer themed parties: we recommend visiting their Eurodance and Karaoke Binge at least once. And if you’re not in the mood to tear up the dance floor, you can come early to “Vinyl Evenings” and discuss your favorite records with the music editor of “Evening Urgant” over a glass of apple tini.
The cocktails here, by the way, are draft: containers with ready-made mixes are connected to a carbon dioxide cylinder and poured into glasses through beer taps.
Address: m. Novoslobodskaya, st. Palikha, 14/33, p. 2;
Opening hours: Mon-Thu, Sun from 09:00 to 01:00, Fri-Sat from 09:00 to 06:00.

Birthday in a restaurant
Why is inviting friends to a restaurant for a holiday always a win-win idea?
Hands up
Our selection of the best dance night clubs in Moscow would be incomplete without the Ruki Vverh bar, owned by the leader of the group of the same name, Sergei Zhukov. It’s impossible not to fall in love with this kitschy place: the shelves are decorated with retro tape recorders and cassettes, there are Soviet posters and shaggy carpets on the walls, and a neon Order of the Hero of Labor is nailed to the DJ stand. The musical program is still in the same style: the golden collection of the 80s and 90s sounds. Nostalgic!
Address: m. Pushkinskaya, st. Tverskaya, 22;
Opening hours: Mon-Sun from 18:00 to 06:00.
Garage
Recently, the fashionable club celebrated its twentieth anniversary and boasted that for such a long time it managed to maintain an authentic atmosphere, in the creation of which several generations of “clubbers” participated.
A special feature of the Garage was the administration’s desire to please its customers in every possible way. The entertainment establishment was closed a couple of times for restoration; its interior was updated in accordance with fashion trends. New staff work rules were introduced.
Today Garage is one of the popular nightclubs in the capital of Russia, where people of different ages come with pleasure. You can enter it for free, the main thing is to be neatly dressed and have a well-groomed appearance.
Look in rooms
The club area is 900 m2. Divided into three zones: balcony, hall and veranda. The main purpose of Look in rooms is to host various events, including stag parties, hen parties, weddings and corporate parties. Clients come here to relax in a cozy atmosphere, be with their loved ones and have a good time, hiding from the bustle of the city.
You can visit the club without purchasing a ticket. Free admission. However, prices for food and drinks here are steep. A light dinner for one person with a glass of alcohol will cost a couple of thousand rubles (excluding tips).
ARTel Insomnia
The establishment is the property of Alexei Gorobiy, who owns a dozen more nightclubs. His Goro Pro team put a lot of time and creative ideas into ARTel Insomnia. A distinctive feature of the establishment is a large dance floor and a luxurious terrace.
This is a place where adults over 28 years old gather. There are very few young people here. Thanks to this, a cozy atmosphere reigns in Bessonnitsa, everyone feels comfortable and can always find an interesting interlocutor.
The establishment is located at Bolotnaya Embankment, 11. To get into it, you do not need to purchase a ticket, but you will have to go through strict face control.
Incognita
Recommended for: singles.
Address : Bolshaya Serpukhovskaya st., 44.
Are you single and looking for a soul mate? Do you want to plunge into an atmosphere of light flirtation and non-binding romance? Or just have a drink, a snack and dance your heart out? Then “Incognito” is simply created for you!
This nightclub has been fulfilling its mission of connecting lonely hearts for fifteen years. Helping him in this mission is a friendly atmosphere, face control, as well as light and cheerful music - from 80s disco to Euro PoP and Russian hits.
Vermeil
The club is included in the rating of the oldest entertainment establishments in Moscow and became famous for the fact that almost all famous Russian rock, folk and ethno musicians performed on its stage. Vermeule's main audience is showmen, producers, singers and actors. They gather at the club to discuss news, listen to live music and enjoy delicious food.
In 2012, the administration decided to update the design of Vermel, and now it has become even more refined, more prestigious and more comfortable.
Most of all, guests like the club’s huge windows, which offer views of the Moscow River and the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge.
Arma 17
Previously, a factory was located on this site. Western media once named Arma 17 the best nightclub in Moscow, and for good reason. DJmag has repeatedly included it in the ranking of the leading clubs in the world.
The club, focused on techno music, has become a haven for such world celebrities as Ricardo Villalobos, Ellen Allien, Sven Vath, and others. Special attention is paid to special effects here. The sound and lighting are also excellent.
- Address: Nizhny Susalny lane. Moscow, ARMA business park building 3A 5
CLOUDS
It is considered the most expensive club in Moscow and has been operating for 10 years. During the daytime, the establishment is a restaurant where comfort and coziness reign. Famous personalities come here with their children, relatives and friends to enjoy pleasant music and delicious food. In the evening, the club turns into a place where “golden” youth, famous singers, actors and businessmen gather.
Despite the fact that entrance to the club is free, only wealthy clients and VIPs are allowed into the establishment. Security guards are on duty at the entrance around the clock and closely monitor those who go inside.
Chinese Pilot Jao Da
Recommended for: students and old rockers.
Address : Lubyansky pr-d, 25с1, ground floor.
How many years have passed, and the “Chinese pilot” still soars cheerfully over the club atmosphere of Moscow. The highlight of the club is its creative atmosphere with a touch of madness.
And the music in the club plays accordingly - from French chansonniers and British punks to Mongolian singers and harsh Finns.
Visitors note that drinks in the establishment are inexpensive, and the security is friendly. A large number of young people hang out inside, enthusiastically perceiving alternative and folk music. True, as in any other inexpensive and youthful place, the food there is so-so. So, before going to the Chinese Pilot, we recommend having a hearty lunch.
LENINGRAD
“Leningrad” is the most comfortable and popular disco club in Moscow, where they play exclusively hits of the 80s, 90s and zeros. A special feature of the establishment is its unusual interior, a karaoke room, a dance floor with a separate exit and areas with excellent sound insulation where you can be in silence and enjoy delicious drinks and food.
Leningrad is open to visitors only three days a week - Thursday, Friday and Saturday. During the day there is an atmosphere of calm and comfort, and in the evening there is pleasant music, talented vocalists sing and a professional presenter works.
Top 10 night clubs in Moscow. Best in 2022
1.Powerhouse
The hit parade opens with the coolest, in our opinion, nightclub in Moscow, located in a 19th-century mansion on Taganka. We will name at least three reasons to visit this place:
- star DJ line-up,
- complete absence of pop music,
- almost scientific interest in whiskey.
And in the summer there is also an open terrace with sun loungers in the courtyard - the best in the city, by the way.
The kitchen and bar here are run by professionals. Chef bartender Pavel Andreev and chef Maxim Nekrasov created real gastronomic experiments on the menu. Visitors are advised to grab mussel popcorn and a pastrami bagel for a snack, and wash it all down with a toffee sour.
Address: m. Taganskaya, st. Goncharnaya, 7/4;
Opening hours: Mon-Thu from 17:00 to 00:00; Fri from 17:00 to 05:00, Sat from 12:00 to 05:00, Sun from 12:00 to 00:00.

Where to drink craft cocktails
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic, sickly sweet or sour, with liqueur, vodka or Campari - choose to suit your taste.
Gazgolder Club & Tea
The rating of fashionable nightclubs in Moscow continues with the club and Chinese restaurant of rapper Basta. Gazgolder Club & Tea occupies the premises of one of the factory design workshops and combines several areas under one roof: a recording studio, a tea room, a summer veranda and the concert venue itself.
Since the opening of the club in 2005, many stars have stood behind the DJ console, including Luciano, Steve Lawler and Audio Fly. However, the heart of the Gasgolder crowd has always been the residents of the club of the same name.
If you are not a fan of dancing until the morning and concert slam, coming to Gazgolder is worth at least for the atmosphere. The architecture of the factory premises, combined with a boho interior, a huge fireplace and erotic paintings on the walls, will become a really cool background for Instagram photos.
Address: m. Kurskaya, lane. Nizhny Susalny, 5/26.
Opening hours: Fri-Sat from 23:00 to 11:00.
Gipsy
The secret of Gipsy's popularity and getting into the top nightclubs in Moscow is simple - it is the complete absence of rules and social frameworks. Here you can run into some important Moscow art director at the bar, then mingle among the crowd of students to the songs of the Leningrad band, or retire to the hammocks above the artificial lawn to finish your daiquiri.
Everyone loves Gypsy, everyone wants to go there, but not everyone is allowed in - so think about the dress code in advance so that the facer Sergei does not spoil the mood of your company.
Address: metro station Kropotkinskaya, Bolotnaya embankment, 3/4, building 2;
Opening hours: Fri-Sat from 23:00 to 06:00.
Simach
If the most expensive nightclub means “the best” to you, then welcome to Simach. Designer Denis Simachev merged his business with Arkady Novikov’s restaurant “Nedalny Vostok” and revived the famous Simachev Shop & Bar, which after its closure was “buried” by the entire glamorous Moscow.
The regulars' favorite staircase with a red carpet, leather sofas, anime prints, watermelon shots and queues for the toilet moved to the new site. However, it’s easy to turn a blind eye to Simach’s minor shortcomings, because this kitschy place is simply necessary for Muscovites to forget about decency on Friday evenings.
Address: Tverskaya metro station, blvd. Tverskoy, 15/2;
Opening hours: Mon-Sun from 12:00 to 05:00.
Happy End Bar & Kitchen
The rating of Moscow nightclubs continues with Happy End, which until recently was the set of the YouTube show “Girlfriends” with Ksenia Dukalis and Karina Istomina and gained a lot of popularity from it.
The ironic bar combines Peruvian-Asian cuisine, a classic cocktail menu and an interior in the style of the 60s “sex sells” manifesto under one roof. If you're looking for a nightclub to go dance on a Friday or Saturday night, come here and rock out to indie pop mixed with Meladze.
Address: m. Mayakovskaya, lane. Spiridonievsky, 9/1;
Opening hours: Mon-Sun from 17:00 to 23:00.
16 Tons
“16 tons” without a doubt goes on the list of the best night clubs in Moscow, because since its opening in 1996, only the names on the posters have changed in the establishment, but not the impeccable service of the establishment.
The club became a lucky ticket to showbiz for famous Russian performers: here, for example, Zemfira and “Semantic Hallucinations” gave their first concerts.
We also advise you to pay attention to the local draft. The 16 Ton club has its own brewery, where they produce three patented types of beer: special light, special red and double dark.
Address: m. Square 1905 Goda, st. Presnensky Val, 6/1;
Opening hours: Mon-Sun from 11:00 to 06:00.
I'Van Gogh
The parties here are so loud that they can even be heard by security officers who are sitting in Lubyanka right across the street. The life of this cool nightclub is completely dominated by DJ sets, concerts of pop stars and performances of stand-up comedians. The menu is equally eclectic: roast beef sits next to lamb shoulder, and tom yum sits next to Russian chowder. There is also something to look at in the interior: the exposed brick walls are decorated with brass panels and antique busts painted with fluorescent paint.
Address: metro station Lubyanka, st. Bolshaya Lubyanka, 13/16;
Opening hours: Mon-Thu, Sun from 12:00 to 00:00, Fri-Sat from 12:00 to 06:00.
Berlin Bar
Boogie, hip-hop or techno? Why choose when you can just come to the Berlin Bar and dance everyone in turn. Many people want to go to this relatively small nightclub, but it is only open 4 days a week.
Together with this bar, the spirit of a real Berlin rave moved to Moscow. Every detail of the interior, from lanterns to park benches, was brought from the German capital, and the owner of the establishment, Chris Helbrecht, is responsible for the entertainment program and signature German currywursts.
Address: m. Mayakovskaya, lane. Blagoveshchensky, 1A;
Opening hours: Wed-Thu from 18:00 to 03:00, Fri-Sat from 18:00 to 06:00.
Mutabor
There is no more famous nightclub in Moscow than Mutabor. Redbull and Fields use this establishment as a venue for their events; techno parties were also held here in collaboration with the creative team of the NII and Rabitsa clubs.
Mutabor itself is the work of members of the Arma17 club formation, who placed the project on 2 thousand m² of a former bearing factory. From event to event, the space is transformed, adding new zones and stages. Even having visited Mutabor once, it is not a fact that you will recognize this club on your next visit.
Address: m. Dubrovka, st. Sharikopodshipnikovskaya, 13, building 32;
Opening Hours: The club does not have regular hours - check their Facebook page for opening hours.
Mendeleev
The top 10 best nightclubs in Moscow is completed by a semi-secret bar-club from Arkady Novikov. To get inside, you need to find a barely noticeable door in the premises of the small Chinese shop Lucky Noodles and go down to the basement. Here, among the stucco and vaulted ceilings, guests drink and dance.
There is no bar menu: professional mixologists interact with the guest and mix a cocktail based on individual preferences. On a weekday you can come here for a piano evening, and on Saturday the melody changes to stylish techno and house.
Address: m. Trubnaya, st. Petrovka, 20/1;
Opening hours: Mon-Thu from 18:00 to 01:00, Fri-Sat from 20:00 to 06:00, Sun from 20:00 to 01:00.
Gipsy
Throughout the week, the establishment operates as a restaurant, where visitors are offered dishes from cuisines from all over the world. On the night from Friday to Saturday, Gipsy turns into a nightclub, where you can try signature alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, dance, chat with nice people and listen to modern performers.
The highlight of Gipsy was the terrace with panoramic glazing, original furniture design and a large dance floor. The main audience of the club are students, tourists, scientists and famous people. Entrance to the establishment is free, there is no face control, but there are security guards on duty inside who keep order and will expel the visitor if he behaves inappropriately.
Gipsy's clients often complain about waiters being distracted. The administration explains this by the heavy workload of the staff.
Club "16 Tons"
The 16 Tons nightclub became famous for its performances by guitar groups. It is located in the center of the capital, adjacent to a restaurant and a pub - it was thanks to it that the history of the capital's dance club began. From the day it was founded to this day, the pub has its own brewery on the ground floor, where they prepare three signature beers. Inside, the English interior is recreated - many mirrors and stained glass windows, brown sofas, leather-bound menus. The name of the nightclub is related to the song "Sixteen Tons" by Travis, and it is played before every concert.
Roof of the world
The establishment began operating in 2006 and over 13 years has gained enormous popularity among famous people and businessmen. It is located on the territory of the former Badaevsky plant and has the status of a closed club.
The interior design of the “Roof of the World” is mixed, it combines different styles, which makes the establishment unique and comfortable. The club is divided into zones, each of which plays different music and attracts a specific audience.
You can get into the establishment without buying a ticket, but since the club is closed, only representatives of the upper strata of society or people who have an invitation card will be able to go through face control.
