    The most favorable weather for relaxation - Climate of Feodosia

    The steppe turns into mountains, and the mountains into plains, then into the sea. There is a successful combination of natural phenomena here.

    Winter is usually warm and mild. But due to the lashing winds, sometimes there is a significant drop in temperature for the south: down to minus 15 degrees.

    Summer brings a lot of sunny days a year. Sometimes the Crimean heat gives the air temperature + 35 degrees. However, most of the summer season is dominated by comfortable, pleasant temperatures up to + 30:

    • Average temperature in January-February: -1 - +2 degrees;
    • Average temperature in July-August: +25 – +28 degrees;
    • Average water temperature in summer: + 23 degrees

    The swimming season starts in June and ends at the end of September. Already in September the sea can begin to “cool” to + 19 degrees. It depends on the prevailing winds in the region.

    Geography

    Climate

    The climate is warm and dry, it can be described as humid subtropical, but not like the Mediterranean, because the tendency towards drying out in summer is not yet sufficiently pronounced.

    Infrastructure of Feodosia - where to go and what to see

    Feodosia is the “muse” of truly great people of the past. Aivazovsky, Pushkin and Leo Tolstoy visited here.

    The visiting card of the city - part of the Genoese fortress - the Tower of St. Constantine will allow you to plunge into the past. It has an ancient history dating back to the 14th century. Located on Gorky Street in Feodosia. Don’t forget to visit the Genoese fortress itself - this place is incredibly popular among visitors, even from other countries.

    Top attractions worth seeing:

    • Tracking station. You can't help but notice her. The space station looks like huge four balls. Suitable for lovers of everything unknown and unusual. Address: In the southern half of the city, near Chelnokov Street;
    • Church of All Saints. Architectural and historical value of the city. Address: Nazukina street, 17;
    • Golden Gate. This is an arch near an ancient, now inactive volcano. There are many myths and legends associated with it. Modern tourists believe that this site is a must-visit, as it brings good luck;
    • Picture gallery of I.K. Aivazovsky. More than a hundred works by the famous artist are collected here. The artist’s belongings are also on display, and the guide will tell you about the gallery itself. Address: Galereynaya street 2.

    The Karadag Nature Reserve is a great opportunity to appreciate the richness of the fauna and flora of the southern lands of Crimea. More than a hundred species of unique animals live here. Plants are even rarer. Almost 80 of them are from the Red Book.

    Public transport

    Feodosia is stretched along the coast + there is a very active connection with neighboring villages: Primorskoye, Ordzhonikidze, Koktebel.

    As you remember from the map above, in Feodosia there is a bus station (Fedko St., 101) next to the railway. Aivazovsky station and a bus station (Nazukina St., 3) next to the Central Market.

    From the 1st there are intercity departures (there are ongoing flights from Simferopol to Koktebel), and from the airport they travel to neighboring villages. Here are the most popular ones:

    • No. 101 in Koktebel
    • No. 104 in Ordonikidze
    • No. 106 to Primorsky

    There are complaints about local transport: used. state of confident occupancy along the route. So, if you are traveling far, it is better to take the bus, of course.

    Short description

    The most beautiful places in Feodosia!
    This city can rightfully be considered the pearl of the Crimean peninsula. Feodosia is a unique monument of Russian history and architecture with museums, monasteries, fountains, and friendly locals. A resort with a long history, golden beaches and various hospitals. In a short period of vacation it is difficult to cover all the diversity of the Black Sea paradise, but it seems that I managed to do this by visiting the main attractions of Feodosia.

    Resort sanatoriums

    Today, the resort of Feodosia has more than 60 sanatoriums , holiday homes and boarding houses , both for adults and children. The peculiarities of the local climate and natural sources of mineral waters and silt mud are widely used in the treatment of patients in these institutions. Locally produced mineral water “Feodosiyskaya” is similar in composition to the composition of the famous water “Essentuki No. 20”.

    Treatment areas: respiratory diseases, circulatory system diseases, digestive system diseases, nervous disorders, biliary tract diseases, kidney diseases, kidney diseases, metabolic disorders, body cleansing programs.

    The main sanatoriums of Feodosia: “Voskhod”, “Feodosia VKS”, “Aivazovsky” (children’s sanatorium), “Anchor”, “Solnechny”.
