Interesting museums for children
Museum of Sculpture "Glade of Fairy Tales"
A unique place where characters from the most famous and beloved children's fairy tales live. There are several hundred of them here, and each one deserves close attention. The figures of heroes from fairy tales and literary works are made by the best sculptors. The materials used for them were traditional wood, concrete, stone, and more modern metal and marble chips.
The park has a long history. It could have been almost a hundred years old if not for the fire that destroyed almost the entire exhibition. Now the year of birth of the “Glade of Fairy Tales” is 1970, when the first revived sculpture took its place in the open-air museum.
The park has a developed infrastructure. There is a cafe where you can have a snack, cozy places to relax in the shade of trees.

Yuri Gagarin Museum of Cosmonautics
The first cosmonaut on the planet really loved visiting the Artek children's camp, so it was on its territory that it was decided to organize a museum dedicated to the conquest of space. Today it has turned into a powerful attraction for children and adults. And it’s not surprising, because where else can you not only see, but also touch, and even try on real space suits? One of them, by the way, belonged directly to Gagarin, another to Alexei Leonov. Have you ever seen a real lunar rover? Exactly the same as the one that explored the expanses of our satellite?
One of the halls of the museum replicates Yuri Gagarin’s office; it contains the cosmonaut’s iconic and personal belongings. There is an interesting exhibition from which you will learn everything about the history of astronautics and its current stage of development. Employees say that after visiting their museum, children again dream of conquering outer space, as their parents once did.

Natural attractions of Yalta
Caves
Caves are a special world. Your children have probably never seen anything like this under the sun, so it’s worth taking the opportunity to look into the depths of the earth.
There are three caves in the vicinity of Yalta: Geofizicheskaya, Yalta and Trekhglazka. All of them are well equipped for tourists and have guides. However, no one has canceled the safety rules; they must first be discussed with the children.
Where are they located: the Ai-Petri mountain range.
You can get to the place by bus No. 102 from the Bus Station.
Mountain peak Ai-Petri
Mount Ai-Petri is one of the main attractions not only of Yalta, but of the entire Crimean Peninsula. Its height is 1200 meters, from the top there is a picturesque view of the western coast and the endless sea surface. You will not be left indifferent by the landscapes that you can observe during the ascent.
You can get to the mountain by bus No. 102, departing from the Bus Station. Further, to climb to the top, you can choose a cable car or go on foot along one of the hiking trails.
Wuchang-Su Waterfall
Wuchang-Su Waterfall is the strength, power and beauty of nature that will make an indelible impression on you. Streams of water sparkling in the sun fall from a height of 98 meters. This is the largest waterfall in Crimea. The flow becomes especially stormy in the spring, when the snow melts intensively.
The waterfall is located 7 kilometers from Yalta.
You can get to the place by direct minibus No. 30, which departs from the Bus Station.
Wuchang-Su Waterfall
Among the most popular entertainments for children in Yalta, it is worth noting a visit to the local waterfall, the height of which is at least 100 m. Uchan-Su, considered the highest cascade of the Crimean Peninsula, gains its maximum strength in early spring (after the snow melts or heavy rains). The rest of the time, the Wuchang-Su riverbed often dries up, so a trip here will be a waste of money and time. The river of the same name flows next to the “flying stream”, providing water to the entire city. For this purpose, a water intake structure was installed next to the reservoir, the top of which is crowned with the figure of a soaring eagle.

In addition to toothy predators, the crocodilarium is home to lizards, snakes, turtles, crustaceans and numerous fish. Many animals are rare and are even listed in the Red Book.
Interestingly, crocodilarium appeared completely by accident. In one of the Crimean zoos in 2011, 77 small crocodiles were born. Today we can say that the project was a great success.

bird home
The stylized knight's castle, located on the edge of the steep Avrorin cliff, was built by order of Baron von Stegel back in the second half of the 19th century. The original purpose of this building is not known for certain, but this did not prevent the Swallow’s Nest from becoming one of the main symbols of Crimea. Of course, small children may not find it very interesting here, although there are a couple of entertainments for them. So, young visitors will probably want to drop a letter in the swallow mailbox and tie a ribbon on the wish tree.
