In August of this year, we spotted this village from the Ferris wheel. Then I read its history, found out that there are dolmens and waterfalls there, and during a September trip we decided to go there. Moreover, in the last days of our vacation it became cool and we no longer wanted to swim in the sea.

Entertainment and attractions of Aderbievka

A little away from the center of the village of Aderbievka, near the river, there is a beautiful bathhouse complex made of logs with the telling name “Zharok”. Siberian cedar and pine were used in its construction. The air here is saturated with resins, which adds a special flavor. There are two separate buildings here. The main room can accommodate up to 8 people, and the guest house has two double rooms.

The facility is famous for its preservation of Russian traditions and its stunning Siberian bathhouse. Here you will find dry steam obtained by heating a closed oven. Various bath programs are offered, such as “The Little Humpbacked Horse” and “Siberian Bathing Bath”. Fragrant herbs, soft steam and whipping brooms provide maximum relaxation. The ceremony should be completed with fragrant herbal tea. Such a vacation in Aderbievka will give you the opportunity to relax as much as possible, improve your health, invigorate and feel completely renewed.

A large well-groomed area with gazebos is surrounded by beautiful forest and mountains. You can also use billiards, a swimming pool and sing karaoke. The place is in great demand for holding small events and full-scale celebrations. Resort guests, having been here once, leave rave reviews and look forward to meeting this atmospheric place again.

St. Nicholas Church

An important spiritual landmark of the village is the Church of St. Nicholas, erected in 1906 and which is an architectural monument. Its construction was carried out through donations. Over the years, the building fell into disrepair and was practically destroyed. In the mid-90s. last century, reconstruction began, during which experts tried to preserve as much as possible the original appearance of the parish. Today everyone can visit it.

Natural beauty

Hidden in the Mountain Gorge is the picturesque Bottomless Lake. It is a natural protected object, very small and, contrary to the name, not so deep - no more than 5 m to the bottom. The reservoir is surrounded by all kinds of plants. Untouched nature allows you to step away from the hustle and bustle and be saturated with energy.

After passing apple orchards and forest paths, tourists will get to the Tsegelsky waterfall. Its height is about 10 m, it is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. Visitors rush to take photos, and the bravest ones dive into a bowl under the waterfall to refresh themselves and, as local legends say, rejuvenate.

Aderbie dolmens

Unique and mystical structures can be found in the vicinity of the village. We are talking about dolmens - one of the calling cards of the Krasnodar region. They have powerful energy and legends are made about them. The buildings attract lovers of everything mysterious and ancient. Today their secret has not been solved. They are houses whose walls are made of stone blocks.

Those dolmens that are located near Aderbievka are decorated from the inside with mysterious carved ornaments. They are quite large - 2 m and 1.7 m in height. According to scientists, these are ancient tombs. Many of them suffered at the hands of vandals or irresponsible travelers trying to take “souvenirs” with them. Today these monuments are taken under state protection.

Where can I eat?

When choosing accommodation, vacationers in the village are advised to pay attention to the availability of a kitchen so they can prepare their own food. This is due to the fact that the choice of cafes and restaurants is small.

You can visit the coffee shop on the street. Oktyabrskaya or go further along the road to the Lesnaya Zaimka tourist complex. The cafe-bar “Melnitsa” is located here, where traditional Russian treats cooked in the oven are served. Porridge, meat, fish, first courses, vegetables and fruits are simmered surrounded by logs to please true gourmets. The interior of the establishment is decorated in the appropriate style, and the room is filled with the Russian spirit!

Don’t forget that natural vegetables and fruits are grown in these parts. The southern sun, fresh air and amazing water make them especially tasty and aromatic. You can buy these products from the villagers, very cheaply.

Gelendzhik: from Kabardinka to Teshebs

Gelendzhik is not only cozy resort villages (and, of course, the city itself), located along the shores of the beautiful coves of the Black Sea. Gelendzhik is also several mountain villages, from which the sea can only be reached by car. Most of them can be easily reached along the M4 DON , while others (for example, Aderbievka) can be reached only by turning off the main road into one of the Shchels (this is the name for places surrounded on all sides by mountain ranges).

However, there are two ways to look at Aderbievka .

The first of them is to climb the cable car to the top of the Markotkh Ridge (I advise you to do this in the Safari Park) and admire the village from a bird's eye view (the first photo for this article captured just such a moment).

The second way is to move along the M4 DON and turn left at the corresponding sign:

The road to Aderbievka lies through the village of Svetly. Immediately behind it begin the favorite places of local residents for picnics in nature - on the banks of the Aderba River.

The village of Aderbievka itself stretches along the river for several kilometers. This is a forced measure, since the village is quite tightly sandwiched on all sides by mountain ranges that are not suitable for placing residential buildings on their slopes.

Aderbievka has a school, kindergarten, club, library and even its own Temple (recently restored):

In addition, it is in Aderbievka that the only equestrian school (more precisely, an equestrian club ) “ Argon ” is located. Children study there for free, but adults will have to pay for their training.

Aderbievka also has its own production - a brick factory that uses local raw materials. The plant was founded by the Zlenko family more than 100 years ago. But after they were dispossessed and expelled from Aderbievka in Soviet times, the production was closed. Later (about 50 years later) they remembered the plant and revived it (Source), having previously laid a good road to the village.

In fact, Aderbievka can be considered an ancient settlement, because in its vicinity there are such local attractions as dolmens.

the Shapsugs lived in this area (this nationality has survived to this day and its representatives are considered a small people of the Russian Federation - source).

However, in 1864, the Shapsugs were evicted, and instead of their settlement, the village of Aderbievskaya of the Shapsug Cossack Regiment was founded. After 6 years (in 1870), the regiment was disbanded and the settlement received a new name - the village of Aderbievka. Later it was renamed the village of Aderbievka.

Finally, watch a video walk through this village in the Krasnodar Territory.

Description of the river

The river with the interesting name Aderba originated from the river, which is located on the territory of the Crimea region, which is located in the Krasnodar region between two ridges, and then flows through the valleys of the city of Gelendzhik. It is no coincidence that Aderbievka received such a name; in ancient times, tribes lived on the banks of the river. Aderbievka is a very large river in the resort city. The length of Aderba is about twenty kilometers. Near the village of Divnomorskoe, this river connects with another river, and then ends its path in the Black Sea.

Aderbievka River

Aderbievka has a riverbed with fairly winding lines. At first it flows through a narrow gap, then near the village of light it diverges into an enlarged valley. Closer to the lowland, Aderba makes a short but sharp turn and rapidly moves towards the southwest. In the place where 2 rivers merge, the main source of fresh water for the resort city is formed, that is, water intake. In the riverbed you can see the smallest pebbles and large fragmentary elements; in some places there is a bottom made of sand.

The river bank is shrouded in forests and shrubby trees. Whether the river is full or not, it all depends on the heavy rainfall. In winter, when the city receives a lot of heavy rainfall, then the Aderba River begins to fill with water, but in the summer, Aderbievka begins to dry up.
