Golitsyno, located on the Small Moscow Ring, is reached by two highways: Minskoye and Mozhaiskoye, and within the city there is a railway station of the same name, and it is separated from Moscow by exactly 40 km. History of the city of Golitsyno

So that you are not confused by such a “frivolous” age of the city, we will give a short excursion into the history of these places. Once upon a time, the current city of Golitsino was called in a similar way - “Golitsyn town”. The place belonged to the oldest and richest family of the Golitsyns; in 1870, a railway was built here and they named it “Golitsyno” in honor of representatives of the noble family, who left a big mark in the history of the Russian state.

The peasants of the surrounding lands weaved baskets, including those that had industrial significance: they carried coal in the baskets. With the rapid pace of railway construction and the large turnover of the railway in the neighborhood, such a business was relevant, especially since there was a representative of another famous family and, probably, the most influential philanthropist of that time, Savva Mamontov - it was with his help that a workshop was founded wicker weaving.

And the Golitsyns decided to sell the lands in these places: the lands were divided into summer cottages, the appropriate infrastructure was installed (a new station, a gymnasium building, bridges and an artificial pond, gas lighting). So the first comfortable new buildings in Golitsyno were built a hundred years ago.

The last pre-revolutionary years in Golitsyno were marked by construction. The town expanded, and a brick factory was built in 1912 to meet construction needs. After the horrors of the revolution and civil war were forgotten, and the country again took up its peaceful development, the history of Golitsyno takes a new turn.

In the 1930s, two elites settled here at once: horse breeders and breeders who developed new world standards for horse breeds (with their pets, of course) and Soviet writers (Paustovsky, Fadeev, Tvardovsky, Kataev). Alexander Kuprin and Arseny Tarkovsky lived here.

After the war, Golitsino, along with many Soviet cities and settlements, experienced an industrial boom - the production capacity of the Golitsyn ceramic plant was strengthened, which quickly became the first in the region in its field.

In the 1960s, the area began to be actively developed - the first new buildings in Golitsyno appeared in working-class neighborhoods (one near the ceramic factory and the second - the so-called Workers' Village).

Next, a new – this time educational – height was taken. The current Institute of Border Troops of the FSB of Russia, one of the largest and most famous military universities in our country, was founded in Golitsyno.

So, when looking for a country house or apartment in new buildings in Golitsyno, do not look at the age of this young glorious city. This is exactly the case when a number is just a number.

Infrastructure Golitsyno

In this large city, brick and ceramic factories operate with the same success, there is a bus factory, the Korkunov confectionery factory is located nearby (isn’t it true, few people would refuse to like it) and there is a road construction department.

On the territory of the city there are several large chain stores, several kindergartens and schools, and the Main Military Clinical Hospital of the FSB of Russia is located here.

Therefore, when choosing a new building in Golitsyno, you can focus on the offer itself (footage of the house or apartment, section and where to look for the windows of the future bedroom), and not worry about whether there are shops nearby, whether there is enough space in the kindergarten and how you will get to the capital if necessary .
