Arkhipo-Osipovka or, as the village is commonly called among tourists, Arkhipka is a fairly large settlement. It is located in the Gelendzhik region. The village is very popular among vacationers. The explanation for this is very simple: holidays in Arkhipka are quite affordable, but there are good, well-maintained beaches and a lot of entertainment.

Arkhipo-Osipovka has a classic Mediterranean climate. The swimming season opens in May and lasts until October. Two rivers flowing into the sea provide good water exchange, so the water here is always clean and clear. The shore in the village is flat, and the bottom is flat, without stones or changes in depth. This is an ideal place to relax with children.

There are three main beaches in the village. The central beach is located between the mouths of the rivers, another one is located behind the Vulan River and a third behind the Teshebs River. The shore everywhere consists of small pebbles mixed with sand. There is also a wild beach in Arkhipka near Mount Camel.

Central Beach

The beach is located between the Vulan and Teshebs rivers and occupies most of the shore of the village. The beach is very comfortable and clean. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. You can hide from the sun under a canopy; sun loungers and umbrellas are available for rent. Also on the territory there are showers, drinking water fountains, toilets, and changing cabins. Comfortable wooden decks lead to the water.

Safety on the beach is monitored by lifeguards on towers and medical workers. Entertainment options include boat rides, catamaran rides, jet skis, banana boat rides, and parachute rides. There are inflatable slides and trampolines for children. There are several cafes on the beach, and there are many shops and souvenir shops on the promenade.

How to get to Arkhipo-Osipovka and what period is best to choose for a family vacation?

You can get to the village by plane, which arrives at Gelendzhik Airport, and from there by bus to Arkhipo-Osipovka.

Also, in the summer, trains run regularly to the stations “Goryachiy Klyuch” and “Novorossiysk”, which are 70 and 90 km from the village, from where you can also get there using a shuttle bus or taxi.

It is worth noting that during the season, tourist and private buses often run from nearby cities, both to Gelendzhik and Arkhipo-Osipovka.

When to choose a holiday is up to you to decide. Some tourists begin their vacation in May and early June, although during this period the water is not yet warm enough, and the nights have a cool temperature for summer.

The month of July is the peak season for the village, a distinctive feature is the density of the population of Arkhipo-Osipovka with tourists, an increase in prices. However, all attractions and entertainment for children, without exception, will remain open.

Based on reviews from vacationers earlier, the month of August will be ideal for holidays with children. Since the number of tourists is already decreasing, the water temperature is warm enough and the nights remain warm.

September is chosen by lovers of the velvet season, although it is unlikely that this month is suitable for holidays with children!

Nornickel Beach

The beach is located behind the Vulan River. This is the only beach in the village where you can drive by car. Parking will cost only 50 rubles per hour. The beach is relatively new and few people know about it, so it never feels crowded. The area is well equipped and well maintained. There are all amenities here: showers, toilets, changing rooms, rental of beach equipment. You won't be bored on the beach. Vacationers are offered all possible sea activities. The water on the beach is always warm and clean. In mid-summer the sea here warms up to 26 0C.

Almost all Arkhipo-Osipovka beaches are free.

Nornickel Beach prices

Walking is free. You can walk a quarter of a kilometer from the Blue Torch beach.

There is also a fee for visiting campsite beaches by car. On average, prices are the same - 50 rubles / hour.

A visit to the toilet in the central part (between the rivers) costs 15 rubles.

For Vulan - 20 rubles.

Ice cream from 70 rubles.

Pork shawarma 150 rubles, chicken 120.

Rent a sun lounger 150-200 rubles.

As you can see, the beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka are different. For every taste. For those who like to walk, drive, and relax right in the center of the village.

Who wouldn't like it here?

For those who love sandy beaches. They are not here.

For such a fairly large village (with a population of 10 thousand people), where hundreds of thousands of vacationers come annually, there is, of course, not enough space by the sea.

In summer, the main beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka are crowded. Therefore, in my opinion, only those who love crowded beaches can relax in the center of the village. And, apparently, there are many of them.

I wholeheartedly advise you not to be lazy and at least once visit the more remote beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka. This is the only way to appreciate the beauty of swimming.

You can also rent a catamaran and go out to the open sea. But that is another story.

Do you like the beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka?

Which one did you like the most?

Beach behind the Teshebs River

This pebble beach is located in one of the most beautiful places in Arkhipo-Osipovka. There are much fewer people here than on Central Beach, so it is always calmer here. Families with children prefer to relax here.

There are cafes, bars, and beach equipment rentals on the beach. Vacationers are invited to ride a catamaran, jet ski, or fly over the sea with a parachute.

How to get to Arkhipo-Osipovka

You can get to the city from Novorossiysk; regular buses, minibuses and taxis run from the station. Travel time is less than three hours. The peculiarity of this route is that the route passes through unusual picturesque places characteristic of these places. From the window you can admire dolmens, stone structures that are thousands of years old. In addition, at the station you can use the services of taxi drivers, but the prices are quite high, so vacationers mostly prefer buses.

The resort town of Arkhipo-Osipovka has excellent, well-kept beaches and good infrastructure. There is a lot of entertainment, restaurants, cafes and shops. The main local attraction is the local beaches. The largest and most popular among the local population and tourists are three beaches: Central, across the Valun River and Teshebs.

Wild beaches

The strip of wild coastline begins immediately behind Mount Camel. You can get here on foot along the shore or by car through the Nazarova Dacha campsite. There is a cafe at the campsite where you can have a snack. The water on the beach is perfectly clean and transparent. Entrance to the sea over rocks. The depth is shallow everywhere, but, as with all wild beaches, the bottom can be unpredictable. Fans of a quiet, secluded holiday often come here. You can pitch a tent and make a fire right on the shore.

ARCHIPO-OSIPOVKA BEACHES BEHIND VULAN

On the right bank of the Vulan are the most spacious and beautiful beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka.

From here there are beautiful views of Arkhipka.

Beach behind the Wulan River

The first beach of Arkhipo-Osipovka behind Vulan is near the recreation centers “Rassvet” and “Blue Torch”, approximately 200 m long. Wide.

The beach behind the Vulan River is spacious

People swim right at the mouth of Vulan, but it is not safe. Catamarans, motor boats, and speedboats go back and forth along the river. And there are signs saying “Swimming is prohibited.”

Pleasure boats and catamarans go out to sea along Wulan

It’s better to walk a little further and relax in peace and safety.

The pebbles here are small, walking on them is comfortable.

I really like the beach behind Vulan

The entrance to the sea is good. There are occasional boulders, but you can get around them.

The bottom is pebbly.

There are outcrops of blue clay, which is why the water is cloudy.

You can also smear yourself with healing blue clay right on the beach.

There are sun loungers, canopies, a cafe, a changing room (alas, only one), and a paid bathroom.

Popular with those who live at recreation centers near Vulan.

Cafe "Mayak" on the beach behind Wulan

You can get here via a bridge (it’s quite a long walk along the river). From the center along Orekhovoya Street through the park (1.2 km).

Suspension bridge over the Wulan River

You can cross by boat from the pier on the Vulan River.

Boat crossing across the Vulan River

The price of the crossing is 20 rubles. per person one way.

You can also get there by car, but parking is small.

Beach parking behind Wulan

We walked here (we lived on Gornaya Street, from there it’s 2.5 km only to the boat crossing), but we love to walk. And walking 10 km a day is just a pleasure for us. And for the good.

Norilsk Nickel (Prokhorovsky) beach – paid (if by car), equipped.

Narrow, small pebble. Large rocks in places.

Cafe, toilets, equipment rental.

Nornickel Beach

I don’t like it because it’s all concrete, and there’s not a beautiful rock or mountain above my head, but also concrete. But this is a subjective opinion.

Nornickel Beach

People love to relax at Norilsk Nickel.

Nornickel Beach

The sea here is much cleaner than in the village.

And without any problems you can get to the sea by car.

Ideal for families with small children and for those who find it difficult to walk far.

Even further to the right towards Betta, the wild beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka . They are mainly used by those who live in campsites.

The shore is pebbly and rocky. Magnificent nature, forest, clear sea and relative desertion.

Wild beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka

The wild beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka are beautiful. They have only one drawback - remoteness. But that's why they are wild.

The wild beaches of Arkhipo-Osipovka have clear water

Public transport does not go here. It's very far on foot, it's better to get there by car. The long-distance campsite “Vedmina Polyana” is 11 kilometers away.

However, if you like to walk and value privacy, then the nearest beach at the Natalkina campsite is only 700 meters from the crossing.

When coming here, take drinking water and a light snack.
