Apartments in Khosta
Khosta has new houses, old housing stock and private developments of varying quality. I lived in Khosta in a modern studio apartment of my Moscow friend next to the railway station. A similar apartment can be rented through the booking website.
Khrushchev buildings in the center of Khosta
I do not recommend booking apartments in Khrushchev-era buildings, of which there are many in the area of Krasnykh Partizan Street. The real favelas are located above the Lokomotiv stadium - I would be scared to walk there in the evenings.

The depth of the sea increases gradually, so water procedures in the coastal zone are quite safe for children.

The nature in such places is natural, there are no architectural buildings, shopping tents, or attractions. In some areas it resembles a deserted tropical island.
A walk to such a beach is a special pleasure, but you have to walk to get there. Many are accustomed to infrastructure, maximum comfort and people, so they do not move beyond equipped recreation areas.

A prehistoric relic forest with an area of 302 hectares, protected by UNESCO, is located within walking distance from the center of Khosta. The Orthodox Church in Khost was built in 1914 in imitation of the Jerusalem Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The church was closed in 1917 and reopened to believers in 1991. Former lead singer of the group “Tender May” Yuri Shatunov donated 3 ancient icons to the temple.
