As a result, the wooden structure fell into disrepair. To restore it, a large-scale reconstruction was required, which included replacing the log walls with brickwork. At the same time, the builders tried to preserve the exterior of the temple as accurately as possible. After restoration, the cathedral regained its original appearance.
