For those who decide to visit one of these places on foot, I strongly advise that before the walk, stock up on water, a snack, suitable clothing, take a fully charged phone and download an application with maps. For example, I use MAPS.ME - here you can get directions and mark geolocation. The most important thing is that after your rest you need to clean everything up. You have enjoyed the beauty, give others this opportunity - do not leave traces of your stay behind. If you plan to light a fire, first read the rules for lighting it. Well, if you are planning to make a real overnight trip, you can always contact our hiking club “Vysota” for the necessary equipment.

Famous healing balm
Mordovian balsam is considered a traditional souvenir of the republic, which includes 39 elements . Of these, half are herbs that have healing properties.
Once upon a time, healers prepared tinctures from berries and herbs, adding bee products such as honey and propolis. Such infusions did not, of course, have the refined taste of modern elixirs, but they contributed to a speedy recovery . The recipes for these tinctures formed the basis of the Mordovian balsam, which is produced at the Saransk distillery.
