Entertainment in Gelendzhik
A fun pastime begins in the city itself with a beautiful embankment with an abundance of children's attractions. The Central City Park (Thick Cape) has more than 30 attractions, children's cafes and entertainment show programs for young guests.
And from the Ferris wheel you can admire the entire bay. For lovers of bicycles and roller skates there are special rental points. You can take an educational tour of the surrounding area on bicycles.
Among city entertainments, visiting museums is interesting - this is the Museum of History and Local Lore, the house-museum of V. Korolenko, the battery of Captain Zubkov (between Novorossiysk and Kabardinka), the Mikhailovskoe fortification complex, the Museum of Retro Cars and the Museum of Bread and Wine (Arkhipo-Osipovka) .
With children you can visit amusement parks or one of the water parks, of which there are many in the city itself and even in the smallest villages by the sea. In Gelendzhik there is the famous “Golden Bay” and two more modest water parks – “Dolphin” and “Behemoth”.
- Water park "Behemoth" is a world of water entertainment with 17 slides, fountains, shallow pools, water pistols, funny clowns, and a children's cafe "Safari". Located in the center of Gelendzhik, 100 meters from the sea.
- Water park "Dolphin" is a cozy small water park on the city beach in Gelendzhik Bay, where there are practically no queues and you can calmly spend a couple of hours in a large entertainment area with paddling pools and slides for kids and cool attractions for adults.
- “Golden Bay” is the largest water park in Europe and a whole city of all kinds of water entertainment, pools, slides, attractions, decorated in the style of different eras and cultures of different countries. Guests are offered dozens of pools and water attractions, about fifty slides and more than sixty exciting descents. For children, there is a water town in the style of a medieval castle, trampolines, playgrounds with swings, various slides, a pirate ship with water cannons, small fountains and slides for kids.
Very close to the center of Gelendzhik there is the Olympus entertainment park on two levels. In its lower part there is a cinema, sports cafe, bowling alley, disco and concert hall. In the upper part, on the slopes and at the very top of the Markotkh ridge, the main infrastructure is equipped. Tourists are transported there by a cable car with hanging chairs.
From the top from the 25-meter Ferris wheel and on the way back from the cable car you can admire a wonderful view from above. And in the park itself you can ride a horse, ATV and jeep, fly a paraglider or a hot air balloon, fish for trout in the lake, and take a steam bath. For those who want to stay in these places for a couple of days, you can stay in the Eagle's Nest hotel complex.

Here guests are greeted by the main inhabitants of the dolphinarium - of course, dolphins, walruses, beluga whales, and fur seals. You can admire show programs and even take part in a little performance all year round. In the summer, there are several performances by marine artists a day.

It is located on a large territory, which is divided into separate zones for freshwater and marine life.
Safari park with cable car
This is a great opportunity to watch various animals. But this is no ordinary zoo. All the inhabitants end up here after growing old after working in the circus, or are returned by photographers as “waste material,” or end up as cubs, left without a mother (these are usually brought by hunters). And although they live in large cages, conditions have been created for them that resemble their natural habitat in nature in a green area of mixed forest and a variety of shrubs and plants.
But this is not only a zoo, but also an interesting leisure center. There is a second cable car on the territory of the park, along which you can climb to the very top of the Markotkh ridge and view the surrounding area from a Ferris wheel.
Also in the park you can visit with children the Black Sea Museum (the first on the coast), the Bear Cave (the first artificial cave in Russia) with giant stalactites and stalagmites.

It is located on the slope of the Markhot ridge and covers an area of 150 hectares. About 450 species live here: the Amur tiger, Far Eastern and clouded leopards, African lion, Himalayan and brown bears, black antelope, alpaca, Indian elephant and many others. You can feed the animals in the park, but only with special food that is sold on the territory. You can feed even large and predatory animals through special feeders.
Safari Park in Gelendzhik is the first animal rehabilitation center in the Krasnodar Territory.
