Life has repeatedly shown us one of the truisms - the best road is the one you know. And, once again, when going on a seaside vacation, we are again and again going to visit an excellent vacation spot on the Azov coast - the village of Golubitskaya.
Road to rest
It should be noted right away that we live in Krasnodar. And in principle, it is absolutely no problem for us to go to the Black Sea, and the airport regularly sends charters to resort cities in the Mediterranean and Africa. But there is some special charm in a holiday in Golubitskaya, which since 2010 simply does not let us go far away.
Two years ago, having passed the summer exam quite well, we decided to reward ourselves with a couple of weeks of rest? We entrusted our beloved cat to relatives (this is the only sadness when remembering the vacation) and went on reconnaissance to a place recommended by friends through the website https://azofmore.ru.
From Krasnodar to Golubitskaya it’s about 150 kilometers, so a maximum of two hours and we’ll be there. We knew the road well and therefore got there quickly enough. What can you say about the sea in this place? It is wonderful, warm, without jellyfish and almost without garbage. Of course, not as blue and transparent as Black. But the sandy shore, whatever one may say, makes the water muddy. But if you have to choose between clear water and a hard shore, then it’s better to lie on the warm, soft sand warmed by the sun.
We think this place is great for families with children. The shore is flat, there are no stones, the depth begins only 10-15 meters from the entrance to the water. Expanse for children and joy for parents. Again, the children are busy - always fiddling around in the sand, building something, splashing water.
In general, from a distance the family vacation looks quite nice. Someday we will definitely come here with our children. At least we hope so. Well, while we can enjoy our vacation together, we need to appreciate every minute of it.
About the village itself
Golubitskaya is a fairly decent-sized village, closer to the seashore, on the first line there are recreation centers, then there are hotels and private houses of local residents. I’ll say right away that it’s better to look for accommodation away from nearby cafes. Otherwise, you risk singing along to live music almost until the morning, and peace will really only be a dream. It is especially noisy at night near the Old Mill.
What is there to do in Golubitskaya? Here you can find something to your liking for both children and adults. We don’t yet classify ourselves into a certain category due to our age, so we liked everything.
The water park is very beautiful, everything is new and bright. The staff is friendly, and security is carefully monitored. There is a canteen and a cafe nearby - we were allowed to go outside the territory and eat there at lunchtime. It turns out to be very economical and convenient. We can’t remember the prices now, though, but we, the students, were happy with everything. You can also go to the Anapa water park, about 60 kilometers from Golubitskaya. And take a walk around the city itself for a variety of impressions.
There is a lot of entertainment on the beach, the number of which is not inferior to any Black Sea resort. And “banana”, and riding on a “tablet”, flying with parachutes. We saw that vacationers even made flights on a “corn truck”. But we didn’t take the risk, and we had to go somewhere outside the village.
Swimming on the beach in Golubitskaya is more comfortable than on the Black Sea beach. Here they try to remove garbage as much as possible; there are many times fewer people than on the Black Sea, where there is nowhere to sit normally.
By the way, for those who don’t really like to carry large sums of money on vacation, there is an ATM of Sberbank next to the administration, and another bank, it seems, Gazprombank. So it’s convenient to travel with a card and not as scary as with cash in hand.
In Golubitskaya, the most popular store, as in many resort villages, is Magnit. At normal prices you can buy everything you need. There is a fruit and vegetable market and several butcher shops. There is a meat point at the market where they grind minced meat and can add pita bread inside upon request. Some went to Temryuk to buy groceries, they say that you can buy them there a little cheaper.
In the evenings, Golubitskaya ceases to be languid and relaxed - the cafes “come to life”, there is live music everywhere, which, as it seemed to us, is too loud. But here both the cuisine and the service are not for everyone. Sometimes relaxed waiters need to remind themselves so that the menu is brought or served on time.

It is very comfortable and pleasant to relax in the Alena guest house. Since 2010, we have been there several times, even several times per season. Every time we come, it’s like visiting relatives. Well done to the owners, they try to meet the customers halfway in everything. Well, we think that if there were people dissatisfied with the holiday here, then it is unlikely that there would be so many people coming again during the summer and in the following seasons.
The location of the guest house is very favorable. On the one hand, a quiet place on the other, everything is within walking distance and nearby - from the market and shops to the beach and entertainment. We walked to the beach for probably 7-10 minutes, to the embankment for a walk of about 5 minutes. And if you want to unwind at the Water Park, it’s only 10 minutes away at a brisk pace.
There are rooms with amenities both inside and on the floor. There is a lot of space there, the renovation is very neat and it is always clean. By the way, there were no problems with water, cold or hot. And no one limited us in the consumption of water and light.
We don’t particularly like to cook, especially on vacation, but we have been in the guest kitchen several times. Everything here is very clean and comfortable. There is plenty of space for preparing food, and tables for eating nearby. But mostly we ate in cafes and canteens in the area. We bought pork at the market several times, grilled shashlik on the grill in the yard and baked vegetables.
Prices for accommodation in “Alyona” are very low and all thanks to https://azofmore.ru. Our friends didn’t even believe at first that you could relax so inexpensively in decent conditions. Haven't checked it ourselves yet. This year they have already sent their parents there.
We parked the car in the yard, there was plenty of space, parking for about 7 cars. The yard is well maintained. And in general, it is clear that the owners are trying to please the guests, for which a huge thank you to Ruzanna and everyone else! It is thanks to their efforts and the general atmosphere of Golubitskaya, so dear and homely, that we come here three times a summer, as if to our own dacha. And it turns out cheaper, by the way, than if we bought this dacha and maintained it ourselves.
Here is our review. Maybe not the most detailed, it’s just really based on emotions and impressions of a good vacation. Rest, which we repeat and will repeat many times!

How to get there
The village is located 12 km from Temryuk. The nearest airport is in Anapa. It is convenient to travel from Anapa to Golubitskaya by taxi - 55 km.
If you want to use public transport, take the bus to Temryuk, and then take bus No. 105 or minibus No. 105A to Golubitskaya. They run frequently, every 10-20 minutes.
Tourists who travel south by rail take tickets to Anapa or the Tonnelnaya station. From here there are taxis to the resort village - 90 km.

There are quite a lot of cafes and canteens in Golubitskaya, where they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner for every taste and budget. A variety of fast foods, bistros, and beach cafes are also waiting for their visitors.
We liked the food in the dining room at the Onyx Hotel - tasty, varied, inexpensive. You can eat both indoors with air conditioning and on the outdoor terrace. The price for a full lunch was 200-300 rubles.
On average, having lunch for a family of 4 people in a canteen or an inexpensive cafe in the village will cost 700-1000 rubles.
If you want to cook yourself, you can buy food in the Magnit chain stores; their prices are lower than in other small stores. Some products can be bought at the market. There are also many trays with fruits, vegetables and sweets at your service.
Food prices vary depending on the season. Prices for vegetables in July-August will be significantly lower, approximately two times, than in May-June. But seasonal berries, for example, cherries or strawberries, cost 80-150 rubles per kilogram in June, and 200-250 rubles in July and August. Peaches and grapes, on the contrary, will be cheaper in July and August.
Beaches and sea
Tourists left positive reviews about beach holidays in Golubitskaya in 2022. The isthmus that separates the Akhtanizovsky Estuary from the Temryuk Bay is one of the best places for swimming. The beaches in the village are covered with a mixture of sand and shell rock. Some are located on the territory of recreation centers and are open only to guests.
Sea water is clean. The shallow water stretches several tens of meters from the shore. Children enjoy swimming in the warm sea and learning to swim.
There are two equipped beaches. The large Sea Breeze beach is located next to the famous mud lake. It is loved by those who combine swimming in the sea and mud therapy. Tourists ride jet skis, catamarans, play beach volleyball and have a good time in summer cafes.

The “youth” beach stretches between the water park and the dolphinarium. Discos and competitions are held here almost every day. There is a large play area for children. Connoisseurs of secluded relaxation choose the long wild beach on the eastern outskirts of the village.

Entrance to the central Golubitskaya beach is free. The coastal strip is very long; if you wish, you can walk along the shore to neighboring villages. There are various campsites and recreation centers on the shore. But nothing is blocked anywhere and you can swim and sunbathe wherever you like.

There is not much entertainment on the beaches of Golubitskaya, but they exist. Jet skis or water slides are present. Sellers of corn and ice cream walk along the shore, as well as barkers for various excursions. A ride on this slide costs 100 rubles. in 20 minutes.
The water in June in the Sea of Azov is already well warmed up. Moreover, the sea is much cleaner and more transparent than in Gelendzhik, for example. If Golubitskaya is too crowded for you, go a little further along the coast. The road leads along the sea and further after Golubitskaya other villages begin - Peresyp, Za Rodinu and others. They are not as advertised as the famous village of Golubitskaya, but the Sea of Azov there is no worse.
