The city of Vidnoye received its present name in 1902 due to the fact that it is located on a hill. And so far it lives up to its name: in 2006, Rosstroy recognized it as the most comfortable city in Russia (with a population of less than 100 thousand people).

How much he will be able to confirm his reputation in the future is still a question, since he will have to compete in a different weight category: after all, the entire Leninsky district will soon become a city district - Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov announced this on November 11, 2015. Thus, the following villages will join Vidnoye: Aparinki, Dydyldino, Tabolovo, Tarychevo, Spasskoye, the village of Ermolino and the village of Leninsky.

So far, according to official statistics, 62,355 people live in Vidnoye. The draft master plan for the city provides for the construction of kindergartens for 3,685 places and about 10 thousand additional places will be created for schoolchildren. Development of Vidny was given by the construction of a coke and gas plant, which began in the pre-war years. Now it still works successfully together with such enterprises as Mostransgaz, Mosmek, Mosrentgen, Gypsobeton, etc. The industrialization of the city is the cause of an unfavorable environmental situation: polluted air spoils the lungs of its residents.

And yet Vidnoye is not the worst place in the Moscow region. There are many green streets here, there are no large landfills, incinerators, radioactive burial sites, or noisy highways. There are many parks in Vidnoye: Timokhovsky, Zhukovsky, Ermolinsky, Raduzhny, the city Vidnovsky park and the large Vidnovsky forest park.

However, emissions from coke significantly poison the lives of Vidnovtsy residents. It looks like this: a white and sometimes black cloud comes out of the pipes of the plant, and the wind carries this strip towards Moscow - if so, then this is a joy for the local residents. Otherwise, the smell of hydrogen sulfide will seriously spoil your life.

Signatures for the closure of hazardous production with worn-out treatment equipment, of course, are being collected, along with curses that local residents release against the plant itself and those who condone its closure, but the plant is still there, and the air, land and water continue to be replenished with toxins .

Transport infrastructure

Vidnoye is located just four kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road, which makes it easily accessible for Muscovites. You can get to the city in about 35 minutes by trains "Moscow - Uzunovo", "Moscow - Barybino", "Moscow - Domodedovo", "Moscow - Ozherelye", "Moscow - Mikhnevo" and "Moscow - Kashira", which go from Paveletsky station.

From the Domodedovskaya metro station, buses No. 471 and No. 364 go towards Vidnoye; without traffic jams you can get there in 25 minutes. From the Kantemirovskaya metro station take bus No. 489. Another option is the Moscow - Domodedovo route, which departs from the Shchelkovo bus station.

But of course, it is optimal to drive a personal car from the Moscow Ring Road along the Warsaw Highway. You can also drive along the Kashirskoye Highway until you turn at the sign “Tabolovo/Vidnoe”, and again the path will go along the Varshavskoye Highway. If circumstances are favorable, the journey from the Moscow Ring Road will take 15 minutes.

The city's transport prospects are the brightest. The authorities of the Moscow region promise to make the Solntsevo-Butovo-Vidnoye road part of the Moscow region backup of the MKAD. The 6-lane highway with transport interchanges will pass through 4 outbound highways. Construction began in April 2016, and currently about a fifth of the route is ready. Infrastructure

The Moscow Regional Socio-Economic Institute and the Moskovia Vocational College operate in Vidnoye. At the moment, there are 10 operating schools, 1 gymnasium, which is generally very difficult to get into, 1 more school is under construction, and the Russian School education center is operating.

The situation with kindergartens in the city is the same as in many places in the Moscow region: there is an acute shortage of them. Plus, there is a women's basketball club here - the champion of Russia, the Euroleague winner of the European Cup and Super Cup. The hockey team “Metallurg” is also famous, and there is a football club of the same name with the city.

There are many shopping centers in the city, most of which are located in the eastern part of the city: shopping center “Vidnoe”, “Kurs”, “UniverMAK”, “Red Stone”, etc. Some are in old one- and two-story old buildings.

By the beginning of 2022, near the village of Bobrovo (which, however, should not be part of Vidnoye, but is located nearby), a trade cluster with a total area of ​​about 60 thousand square meters will be built on 20 hectares. m. The consequences of this decision can be both positive and negative: on the one hand, it is assumed that the number of jobs will increase - they say that it will reach 1500, which is not bad (even if they are designed for mid- and lower-level specialists), and on the other hand, the load on the Simferopol highway will increase. They promise, however, to build a backup highway, but when and how this will happen, and whether the backup will solve the load on the highway is unclear.

By the way, the jobs in the city itself are not great. According to the federal personnel portal hh.ru, as of the end of October 2016, only 28 vacancies were open in Vidnoye, of which 23 vacancies with a salary of 30 to 40 thousand rubles. per month, mainly in the field of trade and warehouses.

The main medical institution of the city is the Vidnovskaya Regional Clinical Hospital, where there is a hospital with 521 beds, a clinic for children and adults, a dental clinic, a clinical hospital, and a medical aid station. • The Sukhanovo estate, located on Rastorguevskoye Highway, is a monument of Russian classicism of the 17th century. Now it looks, frankly, so-so, because it needs restoration.

The thermal baths offer three swimming pools: two for adults in the open air and one for children.

Their concentration and composition are as close as possible to the water from the lake of the same name in the Middle East, known for its beneficial effects on human health. For the youngest visitors of Terma Vidnoye there is a small inflatable pool, where children, under the supervision of their parents, gradually get used to the water and learn to swim.

City districts and secondary housing stock

The railway divides the city into two parts: eastern (high-rise buildings) and western, with the second formed on the site of former dachas.

The old part of the city is Shkolnaya, Zavodskaya, Gaevskogo, Sadovaya, Lemeshko streets - they appeared during the construction of the coke and gas plant. Then, in the 70s and later, the city became disordered, so you can see a mix of 5-story and 12-story buildings. There is an official division into microdistricts, but local residents do not really adhere to it - the names are too boring: first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth.

The new part of the city consists of larger, in comparison with the historical, microdistricts, which are called by the name of the residential complex: Zavidnoye, Eco Vidnoye, Butovo Park (along Rastorguevskoye Highway), etc. They are being built on the former lands of the collective farm named after. Lenin, which at one time were sown with corn, oats, and potatoes. And now the city has taken the land and former fields and transferred it for construction.

The western part of the city is predominantly a private sector, but there are also small microdistricts with two-, three-, and five-story buildings located on Petrovsky and Spassky passages.

As Vidnovskaya real estate expert Oleg Pugachev explains, the old housing stock there dates back to the 40s and 50s. buildings, some even have wooden floors. This area is not in demand due to transport links - after 21-00 buses do not run, people get there either by their own cars or on foot.

The “Old Town” was built in the 50s according to the Baltic (or German - few people remember exactly) project. It is possible that it was also costed by captured Germans, but this has not been documented. On the street Zavodskoy - 3-storey brick houses with good layouts for those times: for example, “kopeck apartments” with an area of ​​58 square meters. m with kitchens of 9.5 sq. m. Another remarkable type of secondary real estate in Vidnoye is “townhouses” built in the 50s - these are houses from 4 to 6 storey apartments with land plots officially owned by the city, 12-15 acres of land per such house. Unofficially, 2-4 acres are allocated per apartment. Vidnovka residents build sheds, garages and even bathhouses on their local areas! There are driveways for cars, and some have apple trees and playgrounds.

Basically, the market chooses such apartments - they used to be communal and not prestigious. The area of ​​a “kopeck piece” in such a house is 55-56 sq.m., there are practically no “three-room apartments”, and 4-room apartments can even be two or three floors, with an attic floor - the footage itself is about 100 sq.m. During repairs, it is possible to add another 15 sq. m of cold rooms - upper floors. The result is 130 sq. m of area - practically your home in the center. Without renovation, such apartments cost from 10 million rubles; with renovation, the price tag is significantly higher: 15 and even 20 million rubles, because such supply is limited.

Cheaper apartments are located, according to the expert, in 16-story buildings on the street. Lemeshko, Rastorguevskaya and Tsentralnaya streets, inexpensive new houses in the Eco-Vidnoe and Yuzhnoye Vidnoe projects.

But here are interesting offers in houses built, which were built a lot in Vidnoye. The houses are finished with ventilated facades, apartments with large footage - one-room apartments start from 46 sq. m. m, quite high-quality entrances with concierges. Apartments of such different levels and prices may be located next to each other, which emphasizes the heterogeneous nature of Vidnovsky residential development.

The most expensive option in the city is offered in a building located next to the city administration. It has undergone a designer renovation, the cost of the offer is 22 million rubles. Among the new buildings presented, the most interesting projects can be identified. Firstly, this is Rastorguevo Village, which, despite the delay in delivery of the facility (and they were recently postponed again - now to the 3rd quarter of 2022), has a number of advantages: a sports and fitness complex, tennis courts, above-ground and underground parking.

The advantages include the height of the complex, limited to 6 floors, and very good layouts, facade solutions that combine wood finishing with glazed “floor-to-ceiling” balconies and a fully glazed upper floor.

The downside is that legally it is an apartment complex, which excludes registration in it, increases operating payments and the opportunity to take a child to a municipal kindergarten or school, as well as receive medical care in local non-profit hospitals and clinics. However, with a stable financial situation, of course, it is possible to make up for these shortcomings in Vidnoye’s commercial establishments.

Secondly, another interesting project is the Vidny Gorod residential complex from Urbangroup with original architecture and a large number of layout options, as well as the presence of several finishing options.
