Singing fountains near the Aurora cinema

photo: @arafrael_666
As we have already said, the main street of the city ends with another beautiful attraction - singing fountains. Every summer evening, large jets of water, illuminated by neon lighting, soar high into the air. And from Friday to Sunday they gracefully “dance” to classical music. The place is magical! Recommended both for a walk with the family and for a romantic evening. But please note that from November to the end of April the city's fountains stop working.

Address: St. Red, 169.

The Fyodor Kovalenko Art Museum is interesting not only for its exhibition, but also for its history. While in other regions of Russia art galleries were opened based on the collections of patrons of the arts, the basic collection of the Krasnodar museum was the collection of paintings by the city cashier. Fyodor Kovalenko purchased paintings with his personal savings, and later began organizing exhibitions of works by artists from other cities and countries. Currently, the collection of the Krasnodar Art Museum includes more than 13 thousand works of art: graphics, paintings and other objects of art. Among the most valuable works are the creations of Aivazovsky, Surikov, Kandinsky, Shishkin, and Polenov.
